Graduate Policy and Procedures

Download Guidelines

The Office of Research & Graduate Studies (ORG) has prepared the Graduate Polices & Procedures document for students, faculty and staff to help define their responsibilities and to explain the policies and procedures that govern graduate study at Alfaisal University. The document was based in part on the Guide to Graduate Policy at the University of California, Berkeley. The Office website may also be consulted for graduate information, including deadlines and policies for admissions, scholarships and degrees.

As the administrative arm of the University Council, the Office of Research & Graduate Studies monitors the progress of students enrolled in different graduate degree programs, from the time they are admitted to Alfaisal University until they complete their degrees. The document also describes the admission cycle and the policies that govern the application, applicant evaluation, and admission of new graduate students. Students may apply for admissions to master’s and doctoral programs at Alfaisal University from any other university both within and from outside Saudi Arabia. The Office of Research & Graduate Studies (ORG) sets the minimum application requirements and has the ultimate authority to approve or deny graduate admission.
